We love this plant!
"Blue Blazes is the star of our mostly-native pollinator garden. It blooms for months, from mid-summer until the frost, and its height and color create a beautiful focus for the garden as other plants go in and out of bloom. Other than making sure it didn't dry out in its first summer, and cutting down overwintered stems just before spring, it has required no care from us for several years. Bees absolutely love this plant. Here in Chicagoland we regularly see three or four species buzzing around its flowers in the mornings (possibly more; I'm not an entomologist), and some butterflies as well."
