Exclusive to High Country Gardens, our Extra Jumbo Waterwise Pre-Planned Garden was designed by Julia Berman. As a larger version of the original âgarden in a boxâ (our Jumbo Waterwise Pre-Planned Garden) the Extra Jumbo is designed to make waterwise gardening easy for everyone. It's the perfect solution for that large space in your landscape calling for a colorful, low maintenance planting. Best of all, no landscape design experience is needed to grow this beautiful grouping of long blooming, drought-tolerant flowers and foliage plants.
Our Extra Jumbo Waterwise Pre-Planned Garden covers 160 to 190 sq ft (12â x 16â) and includes a garden layout map, planting instructions and 27 plants:
- 5x âLittle Night' Salvia
- 5x 'Moonshine' Yarrow
- 5x 'Select Blue' Nepeta
- 5x 'Moonbeam' Coreopsis
- 4x  Red Valerian (Centranthus)
- 3x 'Powis Castle' Artemisia
For best results, we recommend planting with Yum Yum Mix and Superthrive Vitamin/Hormone Plant Growth Stimulant; In hot desert climates, this garden will perform best in morning sun/afternoon shade.
This garden is not recommended for coastal areas of California, Oregon, and Washington, where the Valerian (Centranthus) can behave aggressively. Order our Jumbo Waterwise Pre-Planned Garden For The West Coast instead.
*Plants are subject to change due to availability. Any substitutions will feature plants with similar attributes suitable to the garden design. Not all plants will be in bloom at the same time, as may be depicted in the artistâs rendering.

As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The âPlant Informationâ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge.
