The product is great! Unfortunately

"The product is great! Unfortunately the packaging is not so great. Boxes are not strong enough for the weight of this product. They arrived damaged and repackaged causing holes in the bags and fertilizer spilling out into the boxes."

My plants love this mix.

"My plants love this mix. I don’t put a plant in the ground without first adding some Yum Yum."

Other than the fact that

"Other than the fact that the bag arrived open 4” at the top it appears ok. We will see what the result for the plants is in a month or so."

This fertilizer is the bomb!

"I've been using this fertilizer for years. Every new plant and bulb get a handful of Yum Yum in the hole, EKO compost, and myrcorrhizal root innoculent. Each spring and usually halfway through the summer I sprinkle Yum Yum around the base of every perennial, rose bush, apple tree, you name it, and they look fabulous. I used Yum Yum this year with raised bed/potted tomatoes and herbs and HOLY COW the tomatoes are going crazy! I like that there's no way to under or over do it with this fertilizer and cause root burn because I'm kind of a chaos gardener. If you're going to invest time, love, sweat, and tears into a garden, definitely use this."

I ordered the larger bag.

"Have to give a special thank you to the very pleasant and helpful phone person Marjorie. She took the time to explain how different products came from separate companies. I received my healthy grass plugs yesterday and was inspired to purchase more products today."

Use this for everything!

"I love Yum Yum Mix! I use a handful with all new perennial plantings, and I even use it in my veggie garden for a boost. In the spring I will take around perennial beds with it and rake it into the ground. The blooms & vegetation are healthy and beautiful. I used to struggle to keep plants alive and get them establishes but this product makes a huge difference."

I'm a Believer

"I've seen the good results of YumYum Mix and will continue to purchase it. However, in the gardening videos David S promotes a specialized 'Fall' version of YumYum Mix, but sadly it is not available from HCG."

Great Product

"I have an apache plume, cheyenne mock orange, and rosa glauca that have not bloomed in the 4 years I have had them. Started applying Yum Yum mix this spring and they are all blooming!"

Deb (5/5)

Great for hydrangeas

"I have become obsessed with limelight hydrangeas, and I planted 4 of them last spring with the yum yum. We had a terrible winter, first in Oct when we had a 75 degree drop in temps, and then Easter when a deep freeze killed all the buds on plants. Sub zero temps in Feb as well. My hydrangeas have come back after all that with such vigor it is unbelievable. I can't sing the praises of yum yum enough. Awaiting my first bloom, but so far great results here in Denver."
