Exclusive to High Country Gardens, our Jumbo Waterwise Pre-Planned Garden is the original “garden in a box” designed by Julia Berman to make waterwise gardening easy for everyone. No landscape design experience is needed to grow this beautiful grouping of long blooming, drought-tolerant flowers and foliage plants. This is the perfect solution for that space calling for a colorful planting.
If you need to fill a larger space in your landscape, plant our Extra Jumbo Waterwise Pre-Planned Garden.
Our Jumbo Waterwise Pre-Planned Garden covers 75 to 100 sq ft (7’ x 12’) comes with a garden map, planting instruction and 18 plants:
- 3x ‘May Night’ Salvia
- 3x 'Moonshine' Yarrow
- 3x 'Select Blue' Nepeta
- 3x 'Moonbeam' Coreopsis
- 4x Red Valerian (Jupiter's Beard)
- 2x 'Powis Castle' Artemisia
For best results, we recommend planting with Yum Yum Mix and Superthrive Vitamin/Hormone Plant Growth Stimulant; In hot desert climates, this garden will perform best in morning sun/afternoon shade.
This garden is not recommended for coastal areas of California, Oregon, and Washington where the Valerian (Centranthus) can behave aggressively. Order our Jumbo Waterwise Pre-Planned Garden For The West Coast instead.

As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge.
