"This plant took off the moment I planted it. My garden has heavy deer pressure and this plant has never seen any deer nibble. It is robust and beautiful!"
"These plants arrived in perfect health. I delayed planting them for about a week but they were happy in their containers. Once I got them into the ground they started flowering. Love them, I wish I'd bought more."
"All three plants doing well. Beautiful blooms."
"Arrived healthy and is doing well in the ground"
"She's happier than I expected in an unusually wet zone 5 garden."
"I grow exclusively in containers with MiracleGrow potting soil, and exclusively for pollinators, primarily bees of all types. I was initially worried about this plant because it was very slow to begin growing. However, after a month it started to grow well, and although small for an Agastache, it began blooming at three months after arrival. All bees like it, and the white blossoms are short enough for most bees. It takes full sun at 6000 feet with daily water in the 95 F heat, and although not showy, it is attractive. I will definitely keep this plant and would recommend it to others."
"Over wintered nicely"
"Year 2"
"Bumble bees practically live on this plant. They cling to it overnight and jump from flower to flower all day long. The flowers started out pure white and, after dead heading, they grew back with a pinkish hue. I love agastache and this has been my favorite variety so far."
Plants in the FlowerKisser series have been selected by High Country Gardens Founder David Salman. These new perennial introductions are particularly nectar-rich and attract many pollinators, including honey bees, native bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. The name “flower-kisser” is the translation of “beja-flor,”the Portuguese word for hummingbird!
