For an even longer bloom season, plant groups of bulbs in succession two weeks apart. Gladiolus are cold hardy in zones 8-10. In colder areas, lift the bulbs and store in a cool place over the winter.

Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. "Out of 15 bulbs planed planted in May after our New Mexico soil had warmed up, only 4 have come up by July 1. And I'm not sure they will even bloom. I have other glads that stay in the ground all winter, and they are blooming. I am very disappointed."
