Wake up your senses with Veronica prostrata 'Aztec Gold' PP#13,354 (Creeping Speedwell). Brilliant foliage contrasts beautifully with spikes of blue flowers in early to mid-summer. Its blue summer flowers attract bees and butterflies. The foliage is thick and dense, showing more gold in full sun, with a greener hue in partial shade. 'Aztec Gold' is a fast-growing groundcover that will light up a waterwise pathway, planting bed, or rock garden. This perennial can also be planted in a container where it can spill over the edges.

Description

Veronica prostrata 'Aztec Gold' PP#13,354 (Creeping Speedwell) is a worry-free plant that will light up the ground level of your garden. Its bright foliage shines against the bright blue blooms. Native to Europe, this versatile Veronica is both deer and rabbit resistant. Shear back after flowering to encourage new blooms and to thicken up the plant. Plant in compost-enriched garden soil with good drainage, in a full-sun to part-shade location. Plant with colorful Heuchera, late season Tulips and Daffodils, Allium, and Penstemon.
