Exclusive to High Country Gardens, our Summer Dreams Pre-Planned Garden provides big, easy-care color. Designed for small sunny spaces, this garden is the perfect solution for a small flower bed, or it can be repeated to fill a larger space. These easy-to-grow pollinator-friendly perennials include many native plants with a wide native range, suitable for planting across the country.
The flowers in Summer Dreams Pre-Planned Garden covers 30 sq ft (6 ft x 5 ft). It includes a garden map, care and planting instructions, and 11 plants:
- 2 x 'Purple Dome' New England Aster
- 2 x Select Blue Nepeta
- 1 x 'Blue Boa' Agastache
- 1 x 'Magnus' Echinacea
- 1 x Wild Bergamot (Wichita Mountains Form)
- 1 x 'Goldsturm' Black Eyed Susan
- 1 x 'Fireworks' Goldenrod
- 1 x 'Crystal Peak White' Obedient Plant
- 1 x 'Karl Foerster' Feather Reed Grass
For best results, we recommend planting with Yum Yum Mix and Superthrive Vitamin/Hormone Plant Growth Stimulant

Shipping
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. So Great I Bought 2!
"This year I ripped out a section of lawn to make a perennial border with two Summer Dreams preplanned gardens. All the flowers/plants are thriving, the instructions were easy to follow, and I can't wait to see how these mostly natives and pollinators will grow into their beauty and ecosystem purpose."

"Like all High Country garden plants, I think it's best to review at least one year out since they need about a year to really fill in and get a good gauge for how they look and how healthy they are. However, I wanted to review because this planned garden has two Dotted Blazing Star plants. Both of these seedlings, as well as 1-2 previous Blazing Star seedlings I've purchased, die when transplanted. I really think they need to replace this in the planned garden or send out seedlings that are a year old or so. They literally arrive with one blade of grass. Incredibly fragile and die almost immediately after transplanting. They look really beautiful when they flower, but I've just never been able to actually grow one successfully. Might just be my issue as the Dotted Blazing Star on it's own has pretty good reviews."

I only lost two plants but that was from user error (last min frost took them out) and the rest are so healthy and thriving! Some are starting to bloom and I can't wait to see the goldenrod come fall!"

New garden - first time purchase
"Purchased this pre-planned garden as part of a front yard renovation that is just getting started. I especially like that the pre-planned gardens offer collections that perform and look well together. My plants arrived healthy, even after a 10-day shipping delay because they weren't quite ready. A couple of them are smaller than I expected, but that's ok. They are now in the ground, even after having to sit around in their pots for a couple weeks because of our weird Denver spring - it wouldn't quit snowing! Everything is starting to put out new growth, on top of their existing growth, especially the Karl Forester Grass which looked pretty darn dead when I put it in finally. Can't wait to see how it all comes in!"

"I ordered this garden in Spring 2020 and planted it (temporarily) in a cedar planter. I'll transplant into the garden this fall. Never did I Dream that the plants would grow so much and be so healthy in their first year. They are all in bloom and are attracting bees and even a hummingbird. I'm very happy with this garden."
