How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (801) 769-0300 or contact us by email or chat.

"Mine is growng slow but sure. It has spread to about 6"" since spring planting and is 18"" tall"
"This plant is two years old, and has thrived in our 7000' Colorado garden. Its seed heads are very frothy right now (August) and sit almost 2 feet above the leaves, so are particularly gorgeous with the morning sun shining through. We have given it little supplemental water, but it received extra from our monsoon this summer and seems to have enjoyed it. I wish I had space for more!"
"Bloomed 2nd year, but bigger and better 3rd year. Very soft in the landscape. With a lot of movement in the slightest breeze. A wonderful addition to the dry garden with a long season of interest."
"I planted these in March, and they woke up mid-April. They are now growing extremely strongly and happily. I love them already, and have high hopes for future seasons with this grass!"

"This grass has a nice light texture. I have it planted in a pot that is sunk halfway in the ground with its bottom cut off. So far its been hardy enough to survive those conditions and it looks really nice."
"Not asmuch growth as I wcpected this year and no blooms. Still healthy."
"Bought these to plant under eucalyptus trees. They seem to be a lot slower growing & 'blossoming' than I hoped for, but they have a nice shape & are not invasive."
"Lovely profile, especially combined with Karl Forster. The coloring is delicate, and the effect is especially pleasing in a breeze. We use this among fescue, other calamogrostis plants and kinnickinnick in a rocky native planting."
