"This plant was the most expensive one I purchased and it arrived looking awful. It is so incredibly tiny and was not worth what I paid for it. Very disappointing."
"I enjoy the touch of white this plant brings in the spring especially planted amongst the other colors. It is certainly a day brightener!"
"This is one of the most beautiful shrubs that I have planted. Very hardy and easy to grow. I have place two around my pond. It helps the area look zen. I will be ordering 4 more."
"Hoping this plant will thrive in a high sun area. It's always tricky when they first arrive and are planted (too little or too much water? Too little or too much sun?) We are placing a big of a shade cover over it presently as it doesn't look too happy where it is so far."
"These Desert Snow Mock Orange shrubs will grow about 2 feet per year, screening our deck with graceful arching branches and adding their sweet fragrance to the breeze. The plants arrived in perfect condition and the instructions were easy to follow. They are settling happily into their new home. We are excited to watch their growth! #sweepstakes"
"I purchased two of these shrubs and they were tiny but green and healthy when they arrived. I planted according to instructions on the west side of my house. It gets morning shade and 6-7 hours of afternoon sun. In the 30 days since being planted, they've nearly doubled in size and survived two hail storms with no apparent damage. So far I'm very impressed with the health and hardiness of these shrubs. Can't wait until they start to bloom!"
"the best stock I ever received online. beautiful plants, well packed. exceptionally experienced growers. top quality. you've made a lifelong friend-consumer!!!"
"Beautiful, fragrant blooming, bush. mine is in a garden corner where it's beauty is seen in contrast to the long asperigus bed."
"We live at 7300 ft above Santa Fe. I ordered two plants about 2 years ago, which were small when they arrived. I put them into very large pots on a patio that get NW light. I then became ill and was unable to water and care for my extensive gardens. The plants only got natural rainfall. Many things died, but not the mock orange. Both plants are about 3 feet tall and greening up now. No blossoms yet -- maybe this year. I guess less water is the key to these plants thriving."
"These plants came in pots. I planted two in a 6' box that I built, filled w/a mix of potting soil, perlite and compost. As of July 2, they've grown 3"" (since beginning of May). One has it's third blossom. I am in zone 7 in the high desert. I'm looking forward to when they get big with lots of blooms. The plants came in great condition, and customer service is awesome. I give these plants two thumbs up!!!"
Desert Snow Littleleaf Mockorange (Philadelphus microphyllus 'Desert Snow') is a selected form of Littleleaf Mock Orange with exceptionally large, fragrant flowers. 'Desert Snow' Mockorange is an outstanding native shrub for the waterwise garden. Of moderate size, it's good for smaller yards. Nice yellow fall foliage, too. Grows in a wide range of soils as long as they drain quickly. Excellent companion plant with other native shrubs such as Prunus Pawnee Buttes®, Apache Plume (Fallugia) and Fernbush (Chamaebatiaria).
