Very hardy, attractive plant

"I got this plant for a partly shady area. Then the neighbors planted trees that blocked all the sun. These grasses hung in there through the winter until I had pity on them and moved them to a drier, sunnier spot. They transplanted easily and took root and started growing quite quickly. I planted them a bit far apart and think they'd look better massed closer together. So another move is in their future but I think they'll fare just fine. Excellent value, carefully packed."

Stunning, graceful perennial grass

"I planted Silky Thread Grass in my pollinator garden in 2023, Zone 5 Central Iowa, and not only has it thrived, it is absolutely stunning! My goal is to mix perennial grasses into my pollinator garden for a soft, flowing look. Flowers for the pollinators and grasses that add different textures to my garden and provide winter interest. Silky Thread Grass is so beautiful, soft, and graceful. The plants are developing pretty seed heads in year two, and I will happily transplant any seedlings that sprout to other areas of our property. I am so happy to have added Silky Thread Grass to my garden. #sweepstakes"

I would buy this again!

"I've used this as a punctuation point in a garden I'm in the process of bringing to life. I live in a neighborhood of manicured lawns and mown weeds, my yard was an inheritance of sandspurs and other unfriendlies mixed with natural local wildflowers. I've been using this grass to help delineate the borders of new areas of native low-water plants. A year later, they are like fluffy blond lions manes in the midst of my salvias and wildflowers. I like them best in a triangular mass, or dotted intermittently within a more spread out planting. A straight line planting doesn't show off the movement to best advantage - spreading the grasses out makes them look like sequins as the sun gets lower in the sky. Growing them on the Gulf Coast, little to no water."

Absolute stunner!

"I ordered 5 of these beauties and I'm glad to say they are thriving in our Oklahoma red clay and look gorgeous in the wind. Our granddaughter loves them. She calls them ""troll hair grasses. """
