3-4" tall x 10-14" wide. Gazania krebsiana ‘Scarlet Tanager’ (Scarlet Tanager African Daisy) is a color variant of Gazania ‘Tanager’ discovered by horticulturist David Salman nearly a decade ago, but only recently has High Country Gardens begun propagating it. The large scarlet flowers begin in mid-spring and reappear in fall after the heat of summer has passed. A small-growing perennial species, it is an ideal choice for the edges of gravel pathways. Exclusive.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. "I planted these last fall and it's now early April in Colorado. These plants not only survived the winter but they are thriving! They were good size when I received and planted them and they have already more than doubled in size. I am excitedly awaiting their bloom time. Based on the health of the early plant, I have no doubt they'll be lovely."
