How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
24-36” tall x 16-18” wide. Walberton’s® Snow Fountain Gaura is an amazing selection of Beeblossom Grass, blooming all season long with a profusion of large pure white flowers. Unlike most varieties that have wispy flowering stems, this English-bred beauty has a sturdy, more tightly upright habit. Grow it in full sun and in spots that aren't too dry. It's a wonderful companion plant for native Salvias like FlowerKisser™ Dark Shadows Sage, and medium-sized ornamental grasses such as 'Blonde Ambition' Blue Grama Grass and Undaunted® Ruby Muhly Grass.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. "I planted my guaras in an open area to fill it in. While I received one that died soon after planting, the rest are growing nicely. Can't wait for year two!"
"Growing quickly and well"
"This gaura was small but healthy when it arrived and within just a month is a showstopper in a very large container! I ordered two more to put in the landscape and can't be happier. They have outperformed every Garden Center gaura I have purchased."
"I put it in a container for height. It blooms a long time. I couldn't grow it in the ground in Illinois, but since we moved to the Boston area, I'm trying it in the perennial border. So far, so good! The rain makes it fall over, but it recovers."
"I live in a newer residential area of Santa Fe with the worst soil. Have followed all instructions for soil amendments, planting depth, location and watering as provided in shipping and having excellent results with blooms just 6 wk after planting. Prepping in advance of plant arrival by watching the videos I think is really important as I was ready to plant right away to preserve my plants health."
"This plant was small when it arrived and as soon as I planted it brown spots developed on the leaves. I sprayed it with Neem Oil and it has rallied and is turning into a beautiful addition to my garden."
"Completely reliable in mountain west. I have this planted next to English roses, and in a baking hot 'hell strip' and it looks wonderful in both contexts. Good sized plants, blooming first year, but don't take over."
"This plant does great - even in the hot summers around the Sacramento area. Nice green foliage year round, and then it explodes into bloom around May. The bees love it! I plan to order several more. It got much larger than I expected and it great around the edges of the yard and garden."
