Afternoon Magic

"The preplanned garden really helped me get started. It is so beautiful in late afternoon in the summer."

Poor quality control

"Whomever handles quality control really missed the boat. Live plants were heavily watered and then wrapped in plastic sleeve, needless to say approximately 1/3 of my order had rotted down to liquid and the other 2/3 were covered in mold. The bulbs (which shipped in their own container) were also improperly stored with roughly 1/6 showing power mildew. Not a great look for any nursery and a far deviation from the quality that I saw in my spring shipments"

Small but mighty!

"I bought plants in the fall. They were small but they have taken off already and are starting to fill in! I would for sure buy again. Although im a seasoned gardener, I loved the help with grouping, care and placement. Easy peasy!"

Almost 2/3 of my plants made it through winter.

"They are supposed to be flowers that bloom in August. 1/3 of the flowers did not come up this spring."

Love it!

"Love these plants but one Echinacea is probably not going to survive. . . poor baby! Looking forward to caring for them thru the summer & enjoy them as they flourish"

Love everything but oregano which took over the bed

"I ordered a few of these for 2 large beds and the plants were health and even in the gift year they grew strong . By the 2nd year the oregano grew so big it took over a significant portion of the bed blocking the other plants. I had no idea that it would grow to this extent and it has become a problem. So, while I love the plants included in this ps Kate, I would never plant tge oregano in a bed again."

I LOVE our garden!

"I ordered this last spring for one section of our yard-it flourished. So I ordered the same set for another portion of our yard this spring. I have been so impressed with the quality of the plants, the clear instructions and the quick shipping. I promote this company to all of my friends because it is just so easy and affordable for what you get!"

Happy Enough, but Plants were Missing

"It was fun and easy to do - I only received 16/17 plants (missing an oregano), but I was able to substitute with one I already had. I also received 4 reed grass and 0 Miscanthus Grass (the biggest plant in the plan). More attention is needed from whoever packs the boxes. In addition, I never received notification that my plants had shipped, so I was left wondering for a while until they appeared on my doorstep."

My garden is looking great.

"I am creating an English garden. The instructions said it would take 3 years to be fully developed, but some of the plants are looking full grown now, others coming along on a three year cycle I think."

What a glow-up

"August Afternoons was my first big installation in the garden at my new home, and 3 years later it's one of my favorite spaces. Strong, beautiful plants. These are in full sun from mid-morning. Area prepped with compost and mulch, planted with Plant Success, and a little organic fertilizer worked around the roots in spring (skipping the plants that aren't into that sort of thing - I see you, Russian sage). In love."
