"I've been trying to attract hummingbirds for years. This plant really did the trick. We now have two hummingbirds coming. The flowers are a pretty color, and the plant does smell wonderful. The stems of the plant tend to spread out and are brittle, so I'll put a cage around them next year. We had a cold winter in Denver last year, and the plant survived well."
"Very dainty plant that is surprisingly Hardy. Plant 2-3 plugs together for best results and wilding look. Fabulous smell , lovely gray lacy foliage contrasts with wonderful peach flowers. Conveys the look of Impressionist painting meadow. Hard to get from suppliers in my area- glad High Country Gardens offers full array of these plants. Added bonus: considered a native plant"

"Maybe my longest blooming perennial, blooming from June all the way till hard freezes in October or November. Admittedly needs a little more water than I like to give and can't just go off natural irrigation. Big 3'x3' plant and the hummingbirds just love it as one plant has hundreds of nectar producing flowers on it at a time!"
"It took 2 seasons for this Hummingbird Mint to flower and its a bit whispy, BUT the aroma is amazing; the most aromatic plant in the whole garden. The hummers love it as do i when I sit next to it. Worth the effort to get it to bloom just for its fragrance"

"I planted it in a washtub. It has filled it nicely. The stems tend to cascade and I think it would be beautiful if the container were elevated. I garden in harsh conditions and at first I had reservations if it would make it or not, but I worried for naught. It has exceeded my expectations. The bloom color is much less vibrant than in your photos though!"
"So I'll start with the negative first- I was looking for a plant with red flowers that would fit into a roughly 2'x2' area. I had grown the straight species of agastache rupestris, so when I saw the size dimensions of this selection I thought, ""perfect!"" Well, last time I measured, it was 42""x55"" almost double the height and more than twice the width so it's crowding some of my other plants out, and will only get larger as the blooms keep maturing. This is actually large than the straight species ever got for me. I'm hoping it's just because of the excess moisture this year, but I have a hard time believing they'll ever be less than 3'x3' and am a little disappointed as far as this goes. I would still recommend it, as it's a beautiful plant, with fragrant minty foliage. Oh, and it's EXTREMELY cold hardy- we had a very cold winter this past year with lows of around -26°F for three straight nights. I had something like 12 other agastache plants including some established plants of the straight species. Only one of the other plants I had made it through the colder than usual winter. I had planted these late in the fall though, and they overwintered no problem! Gotta be reliably cold hardy to at least zone 4."
"3 plants doing great. I love to stand among them to water, as the slightest brush generates the lovely mint aroma! The color of this version is so bright and different from the kind-of-similar versions sold locally. Lots of compliments and I plan on ordering 2 more for Spring 2023 planting!"
"I love the Glowing Embers Agastache. They reward the lucky gardener with amazing color and fragrance! Where I live there is a lot of packed clay, so the Agastache are in a raised bed amended with Soil Pep, expanded shale and squeegee. YumYum Mix, Soil Mender and plant Success Granular mycorrhizal root inoculant were used at planting. The HCG videos are so helpful for people like me who are new to western gardening. My newest Glowing Embers is doing its best to 'catch up' to its family around it…. So strong and lots of blooms!"
