Iris germanica ‘Silverado’ (Tall Bearded Iris) is a cool blue-white colored spectacle with lavishly ruffled petals. Recognized with numerous awards including the Royal Horticultural Society’s HM (Honorable Mention) in '89, AM (Award of Merit) in '91, Walther Cup in '89, Wister Medal in '93, and Dykes Medal in '94, ‘Silverado’ is a must have addition for iris enthusiasts and collectors alike.
Plant ’Silverado’ in a sunny location with good drainage where its stunning colors can be fully appreciated. Once established, Bearded Irises are drought-tolerant, deer resistant, and rabbit resistant, and will spread and multiply when happy.
