Iris germanica ‘Polite Applause’ (Tall Bearded Iris) has soft pastel-colored falls which contrast perfectly with vibrant glowing tangerine beards. Truly deserving of applause, this exquisite iris stands tall at 33 inches, making it a standout feature in any garden landscape. ‘Polite Applause’ was awarded with an Honorable Mention in 2015 from the Royal Horticultural Society.
Plant 'Polite Applause’ in a sunny location with well-drained soil, ensuring the rhizomes are exposed or level with the soil surface. Grouping them in clusters of three or more enhances their visual impact and creates a stunning focal point in the garden. Perfect for mixed borders and rock gardens, use as focal points in foundation plantings, or grow them in containers for patio displays.
