Description
Iris germanica 'Ghost Train' offers a nearly black bloom that provides a striking contrast to the softer hues of spring. A cross between 'Around Midnight' and 'Hello Darkness', this nocturnal wonder has exceptional growth and blooms, with each stem carrying 3-4 branches with 7-11 buds.
Easy to grow, plant 'Ghost Train' in a sunny spot with good drainage, in groups of three or more for the best visual impact. Keep the top of the rhizomes exposed or level with the soil surface. Once established, Bearded Irises are drought-tolerant, deer resistant, and rabbit resistant, and will spread and multiply when happy.
