Description

(Plants range from 4-6' tall x 1-4' wide) Our Hummingbird Paradise Hesperaloe Collection (Hesperaloe parviflora) is a showy grouping of three invaluable evergreen succulents that light up the garden with their tall spikes of waxy, tubular flowers. Though it takes 2-3 seasons for plants to mature, once they’re in bloom, these plants are hummingbird magnets!

Plant them in full sun in almost any type of soil, except in wet clay conditions. The leaves are flexible and non-spiny, so plant them up close to your patio, along walkways and paths or outside of windows so you can enjoy watching the hummingbirds sipping from the nectar-rich flowers. They add a striking vertical element to enhance any waterwise garden design. Protect the flowers from browsing deer using a deer repellent spray. Total of 6 plants.

Our Hummingbird Paradise Hesperaloe Collection includes:

Recommended companion plants include yellow Achillea (Yarrow), Nepeta (Catmint), and Echinocereus triglochidatus (Claret Cup Cactus).

Plants are subject to change due to availability. If we make substitutions, we feature plants with similar attributes suitable to the collection design. No planting map included.
