Coronado® Red Hyssop (Agastache Pstessene Coronado® Red) is a distinctive selection of Hummingbird Mint with silver-green foliage and spikes of orange-red flowers. This Agastache plant has a very vertical habit and blooms beginning in mid-summer. A 2009 Plant Select winner. Drought resistant perennial plant (xeric).

Description

2009 Plant Select® winner. 24-30" tall x 15-18" wide. Agastache x 'Pstessene' Coronado® 'Red' (Hyssop) is an outstanding hybrid grown for its showy dark orange flowers, maturing to scarlet and held over the foliage on long 12-15" long flower spikes. This perennial Hummingbird Mint plant has a very upright, narrow growth habit with stiff stems and mint scented gray-green foliage. This Agastache aurantiaca hybrid has a very long season of bloom. Leave standing over winter for improved cold hardiness. Cut back to green foliage in early to mid-spring. (cutting propagated)
