How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
(6-8" tall x 18" wide) SunSparkler® 'Dazzleberry Sedum' is a compact growing stonecrop that grows happily in poor, dry soil conditions once established. Its smoky blue-grey foliage grows and spreads in wide mounds creating a beautiful groundcover and a nice contrast to plant companions. In late summer it puts on a spectacular show with blossoms of raspberry-pink flowers almost 9 inches across. Blooming for almost 2 months, they are a great way to enhance the perennial bed. A great choice for dry areas, rock or alpine gardens, fire-scaping, borders, and containers. Plant with asters, Coreopsis, Yarrow, and other succulents for a dazzling display. Bees, butterflies, and birds appreciate the late summer flowers. They bloom earlier than many other sedums, extending your season of color. Low maintenance, water occasionally, and simply pinch spring growth a bit to thicken up the plant if desired. Flowers may be cut back after fading, they are evergreen in areas with mild winters and hardy in zones 3-9.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (801) 769-0300 or contact us by email or chat.

"I planted these recently in Zone 9,and they look healthy. I'm looking forward to seeing them fill in some blank areas in the yard and provide color and contrast."
"Plants all have great root growth and arrived in very nice condition."
"Got off to a slow start but doing well now and hope to have beautiful flowers this fall"
"Because of our wierd spring weather I had to keep the last order in the house for a spell, then acclimated it on the porch, and finally planted all last week. I used a little SuperThrive when watering and all look really good when they got into the ground. Since planting the wind has been outrageous, The two types of sedum I purchased are snuggled down on their berm, but still look like they are interested in living."
"Loved the plants and the service."
"I planted this sedum last year. It has survived a very cold and dry winter, cold wet spring, and hot dry summer. It has not bloomed yet, but the foliage looks strong."
"Dazzleberry sedum has grown well in a cement pot. I plan to divide this plant as it grows to plant segments in other sunny areas of my garden. Flowers are starting to form and they appear to be prolific. I am excited to see them open. The pot is on my patio where I have a hummingbird feeder. I am certain the hummingbirds will feed at the Dazzleberry sedim when the flowers open. I have a pollinator garden nearby and needed a summer flowering plant in my hot Texas garden. It looks like Dazzleberry sedum is going to be the perfect plant."
"I created a rock garden in a very hot, dry part of my yard and was looking for some pops of color to add that would withstand those conditions. I saw the photo of this plant and wanted to give it a try. It has grown very well in my rock garden and is blooming profusely now (early September) and handling the upper 90's temperatures well. It has required minimal water, and I am looking forward to it spreading. The flower is beautiful!"
"This plant arrived small but strong. In two months time it has spread exactly as hoped and planned with a large amount of tiny attractive flowers."
"This is a wonderful plant, which adds a distinct hue of purple/maroon that is difficult to find elsewhere in a very hardy, beautifully preforming plant."
