How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Our SunSparkler® Sedum Collection is a great way to get started with easy-to-grow Sedums or to pick up a tired area with high-power color. Butterflies and bees love the flowers and many birds will flock to the seeds at season’s end, proving its nickname of, birdfeeders with roots.
SunSparkler® 'Lime Twister' at 4-6 inches tall carpets the ground with lime green foliage edged in yellow; its soft pink flowers arrive in late summer and last for over a month. SunSparkler® 'Dazzleberry' Sedum has smoky-green foliage at 6-8 inches tall; in late summer it showers itself with raspberry-pink flowers almost 9 inches across. SunSparkler® 'Wildfire' Sedum lights up the garden with rose-red foliage edged in pink, and in late summer, long-blooming pink flowers cover the plant; at 4-6 inches tall it’s a beautiful addition to a container too. As succulent leaves are filled with water, making them excellent choices for fire-scaping areas.
Good for rock or alpine gardens, borders, water-thrifty gardens, and containers, plant Sedum in a sunny location in average, well-draining soil. Hardy in zones 4-9 and evergreen where winters are mild, in colder areas they will re-sprout in spring. (Size varies from 4-8" x 12-18" wide)

"These lovelies overwintered well and are going to be beautiful in time. They are taking their time, however they are robust and I am hopeful."
"Very healthy, just waiting for growth"
"Used these in rock garden along border near grass. Looks very attractive and eye catching."
"Two of the plants arrived in great condition and are thriving. The third was barely alive, but has some green, so I planted it in hopes that it would recover. It is still alive, but certainly not thriving and growing well."
"When I ordered this Sedum collection, one plant in it was left out and so I contacted High Country and they sent me another collection, which they didn't need to. I felt kind of guilty. But now I have all of these wonderful sedums that I know I will love. They have been really healthy and robust."
"These are really pretty, I love the colors and they all appear to be thriving in my rockbed. One of my stinker deer did take a snipe at one of them out of spite that I was kicking him out of my front yard but the ones that haven't been chewed on are all looking really happy and healthy and I love the vibrant color. Can't wait for them to spread out, might have to get some more next year."
"I planted several varieties along the edge of 1 bed and more interspersed in another bed. Growing quickly in eastern Idaho soil. One plant arrived in very wet soil and looked terrible. I planted it anyway and it is doing great. So happy with all."
