Peach Dreams Sticky Monkeyflower is a striking western native prized for its long bloom season, drought tolerance, and vibrant, tubular, flowers that attract a host of pollinators. This cultivar is a notable, high-elevation selection of the western native plant – this unusual, high-elevation origin makes it more cold-hardy than other cultivars of this species. Clusters of showy, peach to yellow-orange, trumpet-shaped flowers glow from late-spring through summer against its aromatic, dark green foliage.
In nature, Orange Bush or Sticky Monkeyflower inhabits rocky slopes, bluffs, and dry open woodlands, thriving in well-drained soils where many other plants struggle. Mimicking these conditions in the landscape is best for its establishment and longevity. An excellent choice for water-efficient landscapes, rock gardens, and dry, gravelly slopes.
This is the hardiest Sticky Monkeyflower available; provide a warm site and well-drained soil, and prune lightly after bloom to get the most out of this unprecedented introduction.
 Note: Herbaceous perennial (dying to ground and resprouting) in zones 4-6 and a woody subshrub to shrub in zones 7 and above.
