Amazing
"This phenomenal lavender is amazing. This is the third year and its buds/ blooms are hip high. I am a zone 4 regardless of what Us ag zone says. It came through a very dry winter ( no moisture at all) with energy to grow!"
Lavandula intermedia Phenomenal® PP24193 (French Lavender) is notable for its outstanding cold hardiness and ability to grow in climates with extreme heat and humidity. The plant is a medium-sized grower with nice gray-green foliage and blooms with purple flowers on tall stems in mid-summer. Discovered by a commercial herb grower in Pennsylvania, this cultivar has been grown successfully across much of the country where it has been found to be more tolerant of moisture and high humidity. Phenomenal® Lavender is a zone more cold-hardy than most other French hybrid lavenders and is reliably hardy to zone 5. It has survived in zone 4 gardens if planted in a protected area. Drought tolerant once established. Prune after flowering and before the end of September to keep compact.

"The company hardened the plants before sending so they were in perfect condition even for Colorado. They are now about to flower. I can't wait to see them flowering. Thanks for providing such great condition plants!"
"So very happy with these! Arrived perfectly packaged and fresh! Planted just 2 weeks ago and—despite 5 solid days of rain in Southeast Texas zone 9a—all 10 plants already have an amazing numbers of buds and have grown significantly. They are thriving like I never expected! I purchased from another company last year and all but one plant died. I’m so pleased to find the perfect lavender!"
"I paid $75, including shipping, for 3 plants. The soil was very dry in all of them when they arrived. One of the plants had very loose dirt and at least half of it came out during shipping. One plant was fine, and the other one was completely squished. $75 for 3 plants is NOT cheap and I was expecting better packaging. I've paid less at other companies and had a much better shipping experience."
"Give it time and lots of sun. You almost need to leave it alone to let it do it's thing. I'm getting blooms more than a year later. It seems to be better just getting rain than watering it."
"Gorgeous, tough lavender hybrid. I don’t have the greenest thumb, yet it has thrived (zone 7b)"
"Phenomenal lavender arrived healthy and smells wonderful in my dry garden."
"Of 10 plants that I ordered, 7 looked amazing, 1 was a bit small, and 2 are not happy. I planted them all and hope each one will thrive. I sent an email, just to let the grower know how they arrived."
"I have several of these that I purchased last spring. They are extraordinarily hardy and look great. I simply followed the planting and care documentation that High Country Gardens shared with me and the magic just happened."
"The packing was great. The lavender arrived looking very healthy and has adjusted well so far to our Northwest GA soil. Excited to see how it grows and I will be ordering more in the future!"
