"it was probably sent too early and didn't survive under my grow lights in the basement. Still one of my favorite lavenders."
"Well packaged as described"
"Fantastic!"
"I planted the dwarf lavendar in pots in the front of my townhome. So far they look healthy and I am hoping they will thrive."
"I was looking for dwarf lavender and this one fits the bill. I ordered 9 and 8 survived after a year. It is small when it was received and has filled out nicely. I moved 6 months ago and I dug it up and moved it. It did fine and it is thriving. I planted it on a downhill slope for good drainage. I just ordered 9 more to add to my border."
"Thought I'd try this in a front south facing walkway area. The first season was slow growing but this year this little one really too off and has been blooming impressively. It was the photo including cactus that sold me. Glad I gave it a try. Considering using more in my lawn replacement project."
"There are two things I have depended upon over decades of purchasing plants from these folks. A variety of very sturdy stock that thrives under difficult and limited conditions and stellar customer service. This is why I have recommended them to all my gardening friends. Eco savvy, unusual varieties and long lasting plants are always on offer with H. C. G. One of the salvias I purchased from them grew 8' tall and bushed out to 5' wide the first year of it's planting in an 8"" x 12"" spot. It has thrived for years ever since and attracts hummingbirds and a few varieties of bees year round. And the blooms are abundant and gorgeous deep purple. Sign me, never disappointed fan for life."
"I planted Wee One Lavender in several pots scattered through a flower bed. The plants arrived on time and looked very healthy. They have thrived. I'm very happy with this purchase."
"I put in front xeriscape bed - nice little addition. has bloomed several time."
"These Wee Ones are attractive and are a great addition addition to my garden. We waited to plant when the weather was warmer and they are flourishing well."
Lavandula angustifolia 'Wee One' (English Lavender) is a wonderful dwarf variety with compact heads of clear blue flowers and dark blue calyxes; this slow growing little beauty is great for small spaces. In flower, the mature plant is only about 10" in height. While slow growing, it is very xeric, has excellent heat tolerance and will reach mature size by the end of the third growing season. 'Wee One' is thought to be a bee pollinated garden cross between 'Thumbelina Leigh' and Dwarf White English Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Nana Alba'). It was discovered and introduced by High Country Garden's Chief Horticulturist, David Salman. A Plant Select Petite winner.
