"Covered with blossoms and pollinators now -- May 31, 2025. I love the fabulous shape of the blossoms. Not something you see in everyone's backyard. Thrives in Santa Fe, New Mexico in Zone 6 at 7,200 feet. Takes a while to get started. Have patience. You will be rewarded."

"I can't recommend this enough! I learned about this cool specimen from Laura with Garden Answer. Was able to find here and these pictures are year 4 of growth. They definitely don't grow super fast but well worth it! I love the silvery blue brachts! Reminds me of eucalyptus. I add to cut arrangements. I need to tidy up a bit but I can't bring myself to prune yet. Haha. I love sharing the cool story too!"
"so, yes the 2 plants were small 3-4"""", planted them next to each other in case of 50% crop failure. the 1st year, stayed exactly the same above ground. 2nd year, a few new leaves, 3rd year, more leaves. 4th year, they finally bloomed & set 2, count em, 2 berries. it's still not very tall, 2 ft, but it's hanging on. if you are looking for instant, or even a season, of gratification, forgeddaboutit."
"I fell in love with the photo of this plant and had to wait until it was in stock again. Three years ago, I planted the vine and the deer promptly ate it. I used minced garlic for a couple of years to protect the new growth. This year the vine is blooming and I am very happy!"
"We've had it for several years, and it consistently draws attention from visitors to our backyard. Marvelous and unique vining ""honeysuckle"" (although some are shocked by that name). Unusual foliage. Has done very well in Cheyenne's 6,000 foot, cold, windy and generally dry climate. We're Zone 5, but it's done fine with temperatures sometimes dipping beyond ten below. Survives regular hail. Tough plant. Good plant."
"I ordered 2. One arrived about 4"" tall with a few leaves. The other was a tiny stick with no leaves. I didn't have a lot of hope but planted them along a fence and watered daily for the first few weeks. Fortunately we had a very wet spring and both plants are growing, one is about 10"" with many leaves and the other one is about 6"" with fewer leaves. Both look healthy so far but we are entering the hottest weather now and it's very dry. We'll see how it goes."
"I've planted two of these vines after learning about them in a class at the Denver Botanical Gardens a number of years ago. I've been thrilled with these plants as they are so lovely in bloom and afterwards. They do take a season or two to become established and are well worth the wait. I have one planted in a garden where it's trained to climb up my garden shed and gets some moisture from the sprinkler system. I have another one planted in the corner of the yard which does not get additional moisture. Both are doing well and the one which gets additional moisture is more robust. If you want something that is different, fragrant, and loved by the pollinators, Kintzley's Ghost fits the bill."

"I bought my Kintzleys Ghost three or four years and it seems more beautiful every year. It's a unique beauty and I get so excited to see it bloom every year. The first year I was watchful and watered it until established. Now that it's settled I don't need to go out of my way to water it and it's held up through some wacky springs recently. Can't say enough about the joy this plant has brought me."
