A superior growth habit keeps these plants dense and well-branched, as well as compact, making them the ideal size and shape for compact, modern gardens and perennial borders. Consider using this durable and flashy plant in rock and crevice gardens, perennial beds and borders, streetscapes, and even container gardens! Longest-lived in a well-drained soil; avoid sites that sit wet during winter, like where snow is piled from a driveway or sites that act as natural basins.
