"Arrived in perfect condition"

Delasperma

"See cons. All Delasperma should be kept under poly in minimal heat in Ohio and then planted out in the spring. Soils cannot consist of the preponderant clay soils in the Midwest and should be amended for good drainage. All species and cultivars are nice but probably not worth the trouble outside of more arid climates."

No growth

"Both plants are still healthy, but haven't grown at all since planting the third week of May."

A strong survivor

"This poor plant was hailed on (3/4"") just several hours after it was planted. It was brutalized. But it survived with just a little TLC. I even took a broken off group of leaves and stuck them into the soil and they grew. After goin through so much this Spring bloomer did not flower, but it has tripled its area of coverage."

So far, so good.

"I have one plant outside in a border, and one plant inside. Since I just received it a few months ago, it is too early to comment on its hardiness. It is a very cheery plant!"

Love it

"Very pretty, flowered soon after planting and is growing well. Great instructions on how to plant"

Janet (5/5)

Wonderful rock garden plant

"Beside a south facing driveway among rocks. Very attractive, even in winter when the deep red leaves stand out. Easy to maintain and spreads without much effort."

Pretty but semi-hardy

"I've tried this plant in two xeriscapes. The first was in northwestern Missouri and the second in southeastern Kansas. In both beds the soil was amended for drainage and sat on the south side of the house receiving full sun. In northwestern Missouri (zone 5) it grew well during the summer but suffered some die-back during the winters so as a whole it just maintained itself. In southeastern Kansas (zone 6) It grows well during the spring but has some die-back during the summer's heat. It would regrow during the fall and handles the winter here much better provided wind blown leaves are kept off of it because if it stays cold, buried and damp during the winter it will suffer some die back. So be careful as to where you plant it. Its not a bad ice plant but there are more hardy ones such as ""Blut"" and ""Firespinner"""
