"Small plant, hope it grows. . . but shipping was not very secure, plant was out of the pot upon arrival, and most of dirt was off the root ball, cardboard shipping sleeve was not secure, one plant on top of another. A shame."
While some Ajuga have become known for downright pushy, spreading tendencies, the unique, variegated 'Princess Nadia' Ajuga is a stunning, non-aggressive groundcover. This cultivar keeps a denser, less spreading, and more cushion-like form than other Ajugas on the market and so is a perfect living mulch or groundcover for semi-shade locations, tight quarters, or around particularly well-behaved or petite garden neighbors. Especially good as bright accent in beds that receive afternoon shade. This delicate-looking groundcover is durable with regular watering, can help to stabilize sloped soils, and resists browsing by deer and rabbits.
