Healthy little plants with numerous
"Healthy little plants with numerous babies around them! They were a bit shaken up upon arrival but are doing great now. I highly recommend this seller. ☆☆☆☆☆."
30" tall x 36" wide (seed propagated). A native species endemic to the Glass Mountains of west Texas, this succulent has proven itself to be a very cold-hardy garden resident. Havard's Century Plant is the "big boy" of the cold-hardy Agave, growing to an imposing size at maturity! The massive leaves are particularly wide and fiercely-spined, so give it plenty of room, and keep it away from walks and entrance ways. Plant it with the Muhlenbergia, for a striking sculptural combination.

"I love agaves, but this one isn't showing any signs of growth. It's also not dying, which I guess is good. Hopefully it settles in."
"Planted two of these out in yard in central Texas. The one planted in a slightly raised area has done well and now has a ""pup"" plant out. These have survived 10 F temperatures so far. I water once a month during summer if in drought now that it is mature."
"I bought three of these about ten years ago and now have one very healthy and quite large one that has babies attached to it. I love them for the fact that animals don't bother them at all. They are beautiful!"
