"These were so fun to see coming up in the garden this year! I was so excited when I realized what I thought was a piece of yellow trash that blew into the garden was actually a sweet little crocus!! My four year old loved them too. The yellow ones were tiny little things but so sweet. The white ones were larger and looked so cute with the daffodils blooming near them and the purple ones were lovely too. Can't wait for them to spread and fill in more! #sweepstakes"
"Plant these little flowers on the south side of our house - they came up and started blooming in late March - such a welcome sign of Spring when we really needed to see their colors!"
"I layered and planted these with other bulbs and I'm wondering if that was a good idea, because they got a bit buried in the other greens growing."
"They all came up first year and were beautiful."
"These little guys are AMAZING! They are darling and bloomed in March giving hope that Spring was almost here. I loved them so much I would go out and stare at them everyday and bought some for my Mother-In-Law for her garden. i will buy so many more of these and plant them all over the landscape. The only downside is that I don't have any other early spring blooms so there's a large gap between these blooming and the next round in my garden. I'll have to figure out some other plants to pair with it :)"
"I planted these in the ground and they came up beautifully. The first blooms began during the beginning of March. However, I underestimated the squirrels and left them uncovered -- a mistake I realized when around half the bulbs were dug up and eaten or bitten. I covered the rest afterwards. Still, I highly recommend this product."
"These crocus bulbs were the first harbinger of spring. They'd been planted here and there along the walkway, which had snow on and around it off and on. They keep the hope of warm weather alive!"
"The yellow snow crocus were the very FIRST flowers to bloom in our SW high desert yard this year! :) Third week in February and I walked outside this morning to check on all of the HCG bulbs that I had planted last fall (no amendments, but I did mulch with tree leaves). And I saw these tiny, yellow, very alpine looking crocus buds! I checked on them about an hour later and they had already opened quite a bit more. I know that the other colors in the mix are right behind, as there are lots of grass-looking little shoots everywhere. These are just great for planting in a lawn, because they spring up before the grass is out of winter dormancy. So they wouldn't be mowed or overshadowed. To be honest, I had ordered so many bulbs last fall (planted October and November), and I put these in last. I was exhausted by then and simply carelessly scooped out some earth with my shovel and dumped these in the resulting dip. I didn't take any care to properly space or even arrange these upright. I dumped the shovel full of dirt back on top, plopped on a heavy layer of leaves, and maybe watered a few times that fall. In other words, they performed perfectly even with less than ideal treatment! I am extremely pleased, they are even more cute and endearing than I had thought from the photos. I'm especially happy that they should spread and naturalize, I look forward to continuing to enjoy these each early spring."
"HCG bulbs are very healthy. Great instructions on planting them. The blossoms were exquisite. They came up through the light snow cover at Easter, end of March in Montana at 5000'. The deer did eat the blossoms, not the leaves. I am looking forward to more of a show next year."
