"I love to use early spring blooming bulbs to get in the spirit for gardening season!!!"

Look like large berries!

"These are ""plant it and forget it"" super hearty and self-sufficient performers! They tend to bloom a little bit after most alliums. So I like to plant them along with other allium to extend the season. I also think that they look nice with a groundcover, creeping pink Germander was my choice. Here in the approximately 5000 feet elevation high desert with about 15 inches rainfall per year and zone seven, with alkaline soil, they really do not seem to require any extra care from humans."

The Best choice!

"So much fun to see the quick impact this little bulb creates! We planted 900 and had zero problems at 7800 feet in the southern Rockies. We planted last fall and it overwintered. Every animal left it alone in a year that experienced drought and voracious feeding. This year the blooms were big & gorgeous! Bees, butterflies and hummingbirds love it! Grasshoppers stop by to admire, but not eat it."

love this special bulb

"Not knowing what to expect, I bought these for my meadow, and decided to plant a handful in my ornamental grass-filled front yard; paired with pink guara and mexican feather grass, the combination takes my breath away. . ."
