Description

Iris pumila ‘Thunderegg’ (Dwarf Bearded Iris) commands attention with its clean and bold color pattern and delightful fragrance. Standing at a height of 6.5 inches, this iris blooms early in the season, adding a burst of yellow and purple to your garden landscape.

Dwarf Bearded Irises are commonly referred to as "border iris," and rightly so. Small in size but big on impact, these miniature gems are perfect for edging rock gardens or lining paths with their charming blooms. Plant ‘Thunderegg’ in a sunny location with good drainage where its enticing fragrance can be fully appreciated. Once established, Bearded Irises are drought-tolerant, deer resistant, and rabbit resistant, and will spread and multiply when happy.
