Description
10-12" tall x 15" wide (cutting propagated). This delightful new Goldenrod is appreciated in the perennial garden for its full, bright lemon-yellow flower spikes and compact, dwarf habit. Its small stature makes it invaluable for use as an edging plant or upfront in the perennial border. A fall bloomer, 'Little Lemon' thrives in most any garden soil and does fine in partial shade. A wonderful companion plant for fall blooming Agastache cana or fall blooming asters. Contrary to popular belief, Solidago doesn't cause allergies; its pollen is sticky, not windblown, and is moved from plant to plant by bees.

Great goldenrod, but taller then advertised
"I like this little goldenrod and have it all over my garden. It starts blooming around the end of July and the bees love it. It grows quickly and can take the heat and the clay soil, although it needs a bit more water in my inferno strip. It's also easy to divide. However, it's not 10 to 12 inches tall. It easily reaches two feet tall in my garden."

Favorite of all my spring plantings!
"My ""lulu lemons"" as I call them are doing fantastic. I initially bought 6 and ordered more a few weeks later. They have quadrupled in size in 2 months and are now bursting with buds. In another week they should be full bloom. I put 6 in a row with taller Red Velvet Yarrow behind them. Should be a great red and yellow flower fest when they all pop. VERY happy with these and will get even more in the fall"
