Update after 8 years: this plant is huge!

"I just thought that I would get on here and show you all how great this plant is doing after eight years. Started as a tiny pot and now close to 3 foot diameter. And no, I never water. Literally never."

Very Healthy little plant!

"My Spring shipment of plants arrived in wonderful condition! This little plant is doing great and I can't wait for it to really get established and grow."

No luck growing this one. Two yrs in a row nothing. Probably

"TWO yrs in a row, plant did not survive. Probably will not order again."

They are already blooming!

"I remember entire embankments near the sea walls in Pacific Grove, CA covered with these beautiful plants from the days we lived there many years ago, and was reticent to try them in Albuquerque, NM, where we live now. But so far, so good. And, two of the five plants are blooming already."

I want to buy this plant again.

"I'm using this plant as a ground cover in and around rocks in my rock garden near my waterfall feature. During the summer, this plant has worked out great so far. It gets full sun all day long. Summers can be hot here in Boise ID. I'm really hoping this plant will survive the winters here. Winters can get below freezing for short periods of time, along with snow cover. The plant is advertised as a cold hardy plant. Will see what happens after this winter. If it survives nicely, I will be back to order more to finish off the whole topside of my waterfall feature. But so far the plant is thriving nicely with it's small pink/purple flowers. I ordered 6 plants to start with, and all have doubled in size since planting them in late spring 2023. So far, very happy with the purchase of these plants."

Beautiful ruschia

"A small very beautiful plant with big flowers. I used it on the border and seems to be happy"

Quite possibly my fave iceplant

"The colors are so hot pink! And the foliage looks like a bonsai tree to me. Unlike other iceplants, the stems are sturdy and rise a bit off the ground. So it has some 3D shape and form, it's not merely a mat. The MOST reliable of all my delosperma. Watering extends or initiates blooms. Or I can neglect it for months and while it doesn't bloom as much, it also doesn't die. Kind of a slow spreader, so please be patient with this petite and very special plant."

My favorite cold hardy ice plant!

"Of all the varieties of delosperma that we have planted in our high desert yard, this is my favorite! It's attractive, evergreen and substantial, with quite an upright form. It almost appears at first to be a dwarf juniper or rosemary. The flowers are a bonus; the real benefit of this truly hardy groundcover is its beautiful, bonsai-like conformation. I never, ever worry about my creeping shrubby. It's very dependable! I have two plantings of several plants each. One is on the edge of a steep slope in an extremely sunny and exposed area overlooking a rock wall. The soil there is gawdawful, mostly compacted construction waste, overly mineraled and just blech. Even weeds struggle. The other planting site is fill dirt (I kid you not!) with morning and early afternoon sun and late afternoon shade. At each planting site, this iceplant does equally well! It really doesn't seem that picky at all. Usually I plant in a slight depression to help retain water, but I skipped this step and planted level to the ground so that water doesn't accumulate and really doesn't even much penetrate the soil. I did not add any amendments (as a consequence, I'm not expecting super quick growth and I'm ok with that). PLANTED WITH: Greek yarrow, moonshine yarrow, poppy mallow (winecups), lavender wee one, butterfly bush, gazania, gray creeping germander, carpeting pincushion flower, globe mallow, aster, spring crocus, dwarf Iris and silver lambs ear."

Ruschia pulvinaris

"I bought this plant about 6 months ago. It grew all winter & is blooming now. Lovely plant."

Tough and easy

"I loved this plant! The flowers are silky and irridescent when in bloom. The grey greey foliage is stiff and acctactive year round. Very heat tolerant. It does blooom sometimnes sporadically after the first bloom, but each bloom is very short lived, so it's main featyre after the first flush is the stiff, attracfive foliage."
