Overview
As temperatures rise, Yucca pallida (Pale Leaf Yucca) can weather the heat in uncompromising style. Its signature spiky form and is a perfect addition to a rock or alpine garden, or as a focal point in a waterwise garden. This easy-to-grow Texas native has flexible, pale blue-green leaves about a foot in length, with translucent leaf edges that almost glow in the afternoon sun. In late spring, a flower spike towers up to 6 feet over the plant, topped by a cascade of creamy-white bell-shaped flowers that pollinators love.
