Description

Brown Leaf Cold Hardy Ice Plant (Nananthus transvaalensis) is an unusual rock mimicking South African succulent that has pretty yellow flowers with red pin-striped petals and brown, chunky angular leaves. Growing from an enormous taproot, this Nananthus is an excellent, very cold hardy rock garden species that thrives in full sun. Be sure to wedge the roots between two rocks to duplicate its environment in northwestern South Africa. Good for Firescaping
