Lavender for Washington

"I have tried many different varieties of lavender and this is the only variety that has survived the winter. It remains evergreen and beautiful even in January. It also does well with slightly wetter weather just make sure that there is a layer of grit at the bottom and the soil around it is chunky."

Hardy lavender

"Bees love it and the grasshopper invasion hasn't seemed to decimate them (yet). Beautiful foliage and the flowers are an added bonus."

A big Wow! For pastors pride

"This is the second season for this lavender and it tripled in size! Healthy and beautiful and ready to bloom. What a treat!"

Nana (5/5)

Definitely hardy

"Most of the lavender plants I got survived a cold winter that included a freakish ice storm. They grew quickly and are proving to be drought resistant here in our super hot Texas summer. The plants bloomed last summer but haven't produced any blooms yet this year. The two that I planted in large metal water troughs are not doing well, so maybe not good for containers."

I have purchased this twice and would a third if in stock

"Lining long drive and walking paths. Plants arrived quickly. Very healthy. Thriving so far."

First class!

"Home gardener here. I've ordered from HCG in the past as well as this season. Great plants and thoughtful service. And an unexpected bonus…as a few ""volunteers"" have emerged to relocate elsewhere in the yard. Always pleased and yet to be disappointed. Thanks HCG."

I will buy this again if we plant another area.

"I have never been able to grow lavender, but we moved last spring and this plant is doing great in our new yard!"

Quirky G. (5/5)

this lavender has thrived in my gardner

"This lavender has done very well in my garden. I have alot of clay in my soil so finding drought tolerant plants that are successful can be a real challenge. I have been surprised at how well this plant has done."
