Description

Dianthus plumarius 'Spring Beauty Mix' (Garden Pink) is a nice addition to a small space, rock garden, or container, and can make a lovely groundcover as well. Requiring a full sun location, it’s not fussy about soil as long as it drains well. Water moderately until established, and you’ll have a waterwise plant. Deadheading spent flowers will extend the bloom time. Dianthus plumarius is native to the calcareous mountains of Central Europe, from Italy to Poland. Easy to hybridize, today we enjoy a wide variety of colors and forms of Dianthus.
