Description

Coreopsis rosea 'American Dream' blooms all summer long with rosy-pink daisy-like flowers. Plant it in full sun, medium moisture, well-drained soils - this cultivar needs consistent moisture to thrive. Native to North America, it is found in moist, sandy soils in coastal plain areas from Nova Scotia to Maryland. Its mounding form spreads gently to form a groundcover and makes a beautiful complement to taller perennials. It is a nice addition to a wildscape or native plant garden as well. This deer-resistant perennial is ideal for easy gardening. Simply shear it in late summer to tidy up the plant and encourage fall blooms.
