5-6' tall x 5-6' wide. ‘Yellow Twig’ is a plant I found one winter when I spotted its bright yellow stems glowing above the snowy ground around it. Use it like a xeric Yellow Twigged dogwood, to brighten the landscape, especially in winter. The foliage is mid-green and the large yellow flower heads light up the xeriscape in fall. Rabbit brush is an invaluable source of nectar and pollen for feeding the bees in autumn. Cut back by 1/3 once every 3rd or 4th spring after blooming to keep to moderate size.
