Description

18" tall x 15" wide (seed propagated). Arizona Columbine is a favorite around here with its profusion of small bright orange-yellow flowers. The amount of orange in the outer petals is variable. Even the dry, hot summer weather didn't shorten the 3-month blooming season. Like Golden Spur Columbine, Arizona Columbine comes down from the mountains into the middle elevations of Coconino Co. in north central Arizona and is more amenable to non-mountain climates. Shade is a must in hot desert climates.
