Slawa Triumph Tulip (Tulipa ‘Slawa’) lights up the May garden with shifting burnished flames of color. Beginning with maroon petals edged in a coppery hue, as the flowers mature, the edging turns to apricot-peach and even to light gold. It’s a dramatic element for a mid-spring garden; plant plenty, with their 3" blossoms they make great cut flowers too. Sometimes know as Muvota Tulips.

Beautiful, all came up strong

"These tulips all came up, and are gorgeous. A dark red with beautiful orange edges (not as pale as they look in the product photo, but I love them more in person). Here in zone 6a/b, they opened at the very end of April, just about as my narcissus tete a tete finished blooming."

Very Pretty, good quality bulbs/healthy

"I purchased these (Slawa Tulips) from High Country Gardens along with some other tulips from Tulip World The slawa tulips in my photo are the healthy looking ones grouped in the bottom right The tulips I ordered from Tulip world are in the back of the photo and around 50% of the tulips did not come up at all or came up unhealthy looking and never produced flowers I would highly recommend bulbs from High Country Gardens - great quality, prompt shipment, and they were very beautiful and long lasting!"

Slawa is Striking and Unusual!

"I accidentally received these last fall and wasn't particularly excited about them since they were described here as a copper-colored tulip. Nevermind that! These are gorgeous from beginning bud to end of bloom! Ideal to plant among white or lighter colored flowers or groundcover. I'm in zone 7a and they started blooming here the 3rd week of March."
