Similiar to a baker’s dozen, these containers are what’s known as a trade gallon. Often written as #1, #1 container, or #1 gallon, these pots average .75 US Gallons (3 quarts or 2.8 liters). While the plant size and age varies depending on plant type, when buying a one gallon plant you can expect a plant that is 6-24” tall, 6-12” wide, and 12-18 months old. If you’re purchasing plants in one gallon pots as well as our standard pot sizes, your gallon plants will arrive in a separate shipment.
