I will continue to purchase from High Country Gardens!

"I am very impressed with all the beautiful wildflowers that are blooming. The bees and hummingbirds are loving them too!"

Poor germination, but likely due to planting too late

"I have had very disappointing results this year, but I believe it's largely due to unavoidable poor timing. I ordered seeds in May but due to the pandemic I didn't receive them until the first week in June. The website said they could be planted in June, so I planted them the same day they arrived. Unfortunately it was pretty hot and extra dry, so despite watering several times a day I've had only a tiny fraction of the seeds germinate. Almost all of them appear to be Cosmos, with a small number of other varieties here and there. It's been 2 months since planting and none of them have bloomed yet even though a few are almost 2 ft tall. The majority are still only a couple inches tall so I'm afraid they won't even bloom before it gets too cold. Now I'm starting to get weeds sprouting trying to fill all the open space where nothing grew. I plan to re-seed the area this fall and/or spring and hope for much better results next year."

Blooms June through October!

"I live in the Boise foothills area where there is lots of sandy soil. I planted this mix on my west-facing and sloped front yard. I planted these in April I believe. I was constantly surprised by new types of blooms up until early October. Even at the time of this review, October 28, I still have a few stragglers in bloom. I'm getting another bag of this comenspring time for sure."
