Well. . . at least they grew leaves

"The pictures of the blooms really attracted me to these bulbs. But bulbs in my garden ar typically dug up by the squrriels. NOT these. They ALL grew leaves and appear to be healthy. The leaves are very tall and tend to break and fall over but they just didn't bloom. NOT A SINGLE FLOWER in 3 dozen bulbs. Green leaves but no flowers aren't exactly what I had in mind. . They've been fertilized, watered etc etc but no flowers. I'll add another plus though, the squrriels seem uninterested in the leaves."

Lovely fragrance

"Grew these in containers (zone 5b) with gladiolus, and they did great. Started them early May under a tent in portable containers so they could be brought inside during cold snaps (last snow in mid June). Started blooming early August, and the smell wonderful! #sweepstakes"

I love the flower & fragrance!

"Planted bulbs in both container & in the flower beds. Tall green foliage15-30 inches - blooms in early August. Planted 10-15 in a clump - very beautiful - have a delicate appearance. Flower is white with pink center. Love this addition to the garden!"

Lovely

"Love the late season fragrant blooms, they are very elegant. HCG can be counted on to provide quality plants and bulbs, no matter the choice. They care."

MEV (5/5)

No blooms at end of August - Still hopeful!

"Granted, we did have a cold spring but the foliage has been up and healthy looking for weeks and no sign of any flower buds yet. . . If we have a long autumn maybe I'll see some blooms, fingers crossed!"

Beautiful

"It only blooms once but it is well worth it. The show lasts for a couple weeks too."

Easy care and fabulous blossoms.

"Planted the bulbs in 2 large pots and set them at the front door (southern exposure). The foliage was lovely enough but when they started to bloom -- was totally blown away by the huge beautiful blossoms. And they kept blooming and blooming and blooming. So glad to have these gorgeous plants."

Absolutely stunning! Graceful beauties in August.

"These come to shine when many other flowers have gone past. I love the graceful, clean white in late summer, but they still have that bit of pizazz in their center."

Graceful, Scented Beauty!

"I pot up these lovely species gladiolas and place them around the deck where we can sit near them and enjoy their lovely scent. They are graceful and continue to bloom until a frost stops the show."
