Blue Reflection® Speedwell (Veronica) is a vigorous groundcover that covers its garden space with handsome evergreen foliage and a profuse late spring display of small blue, white-eyed flowers that cover its trailing stems. A hybrid between two of the best low growing Old World species, Veronica liwanensis and Veronica pectinata, it has inherited the best characteristics of both. Blue Reflection Speedwell has excellent heat tolerance, grows well in dry conditions and grows absolutely flat to the ground making it a perfect living carpet for the xeric garden. Plant it with late spring blooming daffodils and perennial tulips, Sundancer Daisy (Hymenoxys) and Beardtongue (Penstemon).

Veronica is a pretty tough plant
"Because of our wierd spring weather I had to keep the last order in the house for a spell, then acclimated it on the porch, and finally planted this week. I used a little SuperThrive when watering and the Veronica looks really good now that it's in the ground."
— P (5/5)
Very Healthy Plants
"I was very impressed with the quality of the plants when they arrived. I'm using them to fill a bare space that's in partial shade. I haven't ordered from High Country Gardens in several years and am happy to see the quality of plants and service hasn't changed."
— May (5/5)
Struggling to establish itself despite ideal conditions
"This ground cover is really struggling. It seems to need more water than it is getting, although it is in a bed with roses and bergamot so it should be doing better than it is. If it survives maybe it will be better next year"
— Kate (3/5)
Simply stunning!
"This is simply a stunning groundcover. A few years in and this speedwell has gone from 2 inches to 3-4 feet wide. It is crawling over rocks and gravel up and down a small mound. I Highly recommend this beautiful goundcover. I couldn't imagine a better one!"
— J. J. (5/5)
Low Growing, Spreading, Plant
"Already starting to spread in the partly sunny edge of the shade garden. Looking forward to next year's flowering."
— Frankie (5/5)
Superb, flourishing, beguiling groundcover
"In the high desert here in Central Oregon, especially during severe drought, our garden looks bare, grim, and barely surviving. The veronica varieties from High Country Gardens have quickly filled in and carpeted the areas with beguiling, subtle blue flowers. The garden looks as if it is actually being tended, not abandoned, this year."
— AKA (5/5)
