Leucanthemum superbum 'Snowcap' (Shasta Daisy) is an easy-to-grow garden essential that fills the summer garden with classic cheerful blooms. Snow white petals surround golden centers, and this cultivar tolerates wind and rain better than most, with a sturdy, compact form that fits just about anywhere. An all-time garden favorite, ‘Snowcap’ is both deer and rabbit resistant, and easily fits the bill when it comes to people-and pollinator-pleasing flowers. ‘Snowcap’ attracts butterflies and bees and is an excellent choice for a border, along a path, or in a container, where they can shine.
Leucanthemum superbum 'Snowcap' (Shasta Daisy) is an excellent cultivar with a sturdy, uniform habit. Its bright green foliage is covered in cheerful flowers from early to late summer. They make excellent cut flowers and cutting will encourage more blooms. Plant ‘Snowcap’ in average soil with good drainage, in a sunny location. Once established, they are stalwart waterwise perennials and vigorous bloomers. Plant with other waterwise companions such as 'Royal Candles' Veronica, Monarda, Salvia, Coreopsis, and Lavender. Though it has naturalized in North America, Daisies are native to Europe and Asia. Shasta Daisies were introduced in 1901 by famed plant breeder Luther Burbank, who selected the plant for large flowers, a long bloom time, and a sturdy habit; named for California’s Mt. Shasta, Shasta Daisies have become a popular and easy-to-grow garden staple.

Amazed at how good the plants looked on arrival!
"First time ordering from High Country, for a new-to-me walled garden in NM that needed some TLC. The plants were larger than I expected and in beautiful shape! I would absolutely do this again, and probably will!"
— Desert R. (5/5)
Happy plants happy gardener!
"Received my liltte plants looking hardy with a good root system. Gave them a needed drink of water and they rested for a few days before being planted. It was a tough dry Spring and Summer and I was a bit tardy about watering but they muddled through and seem to be thriving this Spring! Looking forward to them blooming!"
— Marre (5/5)
Growing ok so far.
"Planted in newly prepared bed for pollinators."
