"I love this plant variety but it is hard to find. Keep stocking this beauty!"
"I ordered a pair of these to try out and provide some groundcover help in a raised container that's home to a dwarf sage and a hydrangea. They've been in the ground for about a month, are thriving, and getting ready to start budding. They arrived healthy and in great condition and the timing with the zone (8b in my case) for shipment was perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing them put on a show when they start to bloom in about a month or so! #sweepstakes"
"This flower gets better and better every year! We planted the flat of 32 in the spring of 2021. This year (2023), in a western suburb of Denver it bloomed profusely in early-mid august and is still going strong at the end of the month with a few less blooms. We've had so many neighbors ask about and compliment it. The hummingbird moths (sphinx moths) love it, with 6-12 zooming around it at a time! It got no supplemental water this year either, although it was a wet spring/summer. It looks decent during the winter and there is little cut back required in the early spring."
"These are really cute and I'd love to get more. Excited to see them as they grow! My pics are from about 9 months of being planted but I believe I transplanted them once too. Have in 2 different soil types and both are doing well! Zone 5"
"I bought three and planted them in three places in my yard. The photo is of the toughest place I planted one, which is in a Crack in our rock wall. I also planted some thyme and creeping Veronica around that area and they all died but the soapwort is thriving and blooming, happy as can be. These rocks get blasted with sun during the day and get extremely hot. It doesn't get shade til about 5 or 6 pm. The other two are planted in areas with a bit more shade and they are also doing well, but this one actually seems to be the happiest, and bloomed first, among the three. Planted last fall and they were all covered in snow all winter bc we had record-breaking snow this year, so these are very hardy with both snow and heat."
"I just wanted to rave about the quality of the plants we just received. They were healthy, large enough that they're going to set in quite well. All the plants we ordered looked great!"
"I bought 4 of these last year (2018). They are so darn pretty and they bloomed all summer straight into fall. I'm hoping they fill out a bit this year (2019) and begin to spread. They are coming back very healthy and robust so i think the blooms will be just as magnificent. Do yourself a favor and get this beauty, you won't regret it."
"I put this in a pot at the front of the house. It was a slow starter but had a long season. I watered fairly often as we had a terribly dry summer (Denver is in drought). Looks like a keeper, we will see how it does next season, but I am happy about its first round."
"Beautiful, long blooming ground cover plant! Loved by hawk moths, who visit on summer evenings!"
"I enjoy the shape, leaves and shade of pink (it almost has a hint of purple) of these somewhat phlox-like plants (which tend to bloom AFTER phlox, so if you like the phlox look, then these are great to extend that low, mounding shape bloom season). We live in the high desert with only about 15 inches of water a year and very harsh sun and wind. Under these conditions, the giant flowering soapwort does need a little bit of pampering. Part shade is a must here, and in order for the blooms not to shrivel and fade, it does need to stay more moist than do desert plants. To give this plant the best chance, I planted in a depression of a few inches and mulched with dry leaves. I am very pleased with the robust nature of this soapwort; I ordered these last fall as tiny, 2 or 2. 5 inch starts. Already this summer, they have been blooming (and continue to do so) for about a month, and have spread to each be about a 12 inch circle."
