'Heavenly Habit' Northern Jacob’s Ladder is a compact perennial that is covered with a profusion of delicate flowers and fuzzy foliage. The pale violet-blue, lightly scented flowers bloom from early-to-late summer with yellow halos and white eyes. Native to high arctic land, these hardy plants will add a delicate beauty to a sunny or part-shade garden. Attractive fern-like foliage adds even more texture. Deer resistant.

So lush and pretty! The foliage is unique.

"I bought these as a BOGO. One gets morning sun and PM shade and one is under a tree getting a touch of afternoon sun. Both are thriving beautifully!"

Resilient!

"I planted two of these in the Fall and was amazed that they stayed green all winter in my Zone 7 front yard! They have done great this spring also, thriving in an area of my garden that was a ""problem"" area. It's mostly a shade garden but gets hot afternoon sun, so I've had a difficult time finding something to thrive, but these have been great!"

Ok

"Only 2 of the 3 I bought survived. Most of the plants I bought in June from HCG seem to be a bum lot. Planted these in morning sun, shade by 2pm. Needed much more attention and water then expected. 2 died off within 2 weeks of planting. 1 is still growing but it's pretty meager and unattractive."

I would buy this again

"I lost my first jacob's ladder years ago. This is the exact same one, it came so healthy and ready to bloom. I've enjoyed it all summer. I am certain it will make it through our tough Vermont winters so I can continue to smell this wonderful scent!"
